Since 1994, Core BTS, Inc., has provided business technology solutions to a wide variety of industries, helping companies achieve their goals, streamline operations, reduce costs and enhance their bottom lines.

Core’s story is one of convergence – bringing together the right people and organizations to build a leading provider of business technology solutions.

CTi was established in 2004 to acquire and build a leading voice and data services integration company. As companies become more reliant on sophisticated technologies to meet their business needs, CTi leadership identified an opportunity to deliver high-value, integrated converged voice and data solutions to address this burgeoning market.

Securing an equity commitment from Founders Equity, CTi acquired three companies in 2004-2005, already providing voice and data services and products to expanding markets in the Northeast:

  • Open Systems Technologies LLC (Clifton Park, NY), founded in 1991
  • WorldNet Technology Consultants, Inc., with offices in Reading, PA, providing expansion into the Pennsylvania market
  • AAA Networks of Falls Church, VA, founded in 1992, providing strong voice and data services in the Washington, DC market
In February, 2006, CTi acquired Core Business Technology Solutions, LLC, a business technology consulting and integration company headquartered in Indianapolis, IN, with offices in Exton, PA; Reston, VA; and Nashville, TN. Core was founded in 1994 under the name KSM Consulting. The merged companies consolidated under the Core identity, incorporating Core’s business practices and back-office operations.
 
In July, 2009, Core announced the acquisition of Inacom Information Systems, an award-winning integrated solutions provider and technical training powerhouse. Inacom operated three locations in Wisconsin with headquarters located in their Madison, WI, office. With this most recent acquistiion, Core BTS was able to expand its footprint and business impact across a number of solution offerings, including Inacom Education and Enterprise Architecture.
 
           Today, Core BTS, Inc. is in ten markets with combined revenues in excess of $180 million. Core is listed  at    number 242 on the VARBusiness 500 list of largest technology consultants and resellers.
